The Atlantic Immigration Program is a way to obtain permanent residency if you are an intermediate-skilled or a skilled foreign worker. Also, if you are an international student who graduated from a Canadian Institution and wished to live and work in one of the four Atlantic provinces of Canada: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, or Newfoundland and Labrador.
This is an immigration program that enables employers to recruit highly qualified individuals for job positions that have remained unfulfilled due to a lack of locally qualified employees.
It is a specifically designed program for employers in Atlantic Canada to appoint a skilled workforce. You must receive an employment offer from Atlantic Canada to participate in the Atlantic Immigration Program.
Be a fresh graduate from a well-known post-secondary educational institute situated in Atlantic Canada
Intermediate-Skilled or Skilled Worker
Temporarily residing in Canada
Temporarily living abroad
Suitable work experience
Meet or surpass the academic qualifications
Meet or exceed language requirements
Are financially eligible to support yourself and your family once you get to Canada
We will guide you by providing the relevant information and determining whether you are eligible to make the cut for this program. If specific criteria are not met, we can advise you on how to become eligible through AIP or an entirely different immigration pathway.
It must be a full-time job offer
It must not be seasonal, a regular annual paid job position
The job should last at least one year
The job offer should be of a permanent employment
There should be no ownership of the said person or spouse in the company the offer came from

The individual must have one full year of paid, full-time employment experience in the past five years. The hours you have worked abroad or those clocked in while residing inside Canada on a valid work permit can also be counted.
International Graduate Requirement
Such candidates do not need to meet the job experience requirements.
Hold a minimum two-year degree, diploma, certificate, or trade or apprenticeship certificate; from a recognized post-secondary institution in one of the Atlantic provinces;
Have been full-time students for the entirety of their studies;
Have lived in one of the Atlantic provinces for at least 16 months during the last two years before graduating;
Have held the required study permit and, if needed, work permit, during their studies in Canada
